That's when you want a big printed card to slip on the windshield: "You're a complete Poser. Here's you sign."

Speaking of poseurs, have you seen the new Toyota boxy SUV with the contrasting white roof? Puke (IMHO)...

Somehow I had a feeling that that was what would appear at 2:24! Didn't even have to look at it to figure that out!

I wouldn't buy one because it get's really lousy gas mileage and it's an SUV....but I like the way it looks.

The white roof on classic 4x4 like Land Rovers and the Toyota FJ-40 was and is functional. It is intended to keep a vehicle without air conditioning as cool as possible in hot climates. It is not intended to copy our unique little cars.

Here's a pic of the vehicle that inspired the new retro version with its white roof:

wow talk about ignorace....VW has been putting checkers on the roof just as long as mini's have. Learn something before calling someone a poser

this whole counterfeit thing is a complete joke. Everyone thinks mini was the first to do everything, from the white roof, the stripes, and now checkers? Get a reality check and realize that many other cars came from the factory with those options just like mini back in the past. You do realize that mini didnt even offer those things until WAY later. The first minis were all one color and adding stripes and checkers were unheard of.
