Mods covered under guarantee
Like I said before, I have a 2006 MC and am doing some informal research about increasing horsepower. Thanks to those who have responded.
My next question: what modifications are covered by Cooper's initial 4-year (50,000) guarantee?
Is a K & N cold air intake? Does Mini offer parts/mods under guarantee?

This is the kit offered by MINI which is 100% warranted.

Now the usual warranty chat. You can mod your car as much as you want but if a failure occurs and the dealer can point to a mod as the cause of the failure then you have trouble.

No mods other than JCW or MINI Oem are covered. You are on your own.
