WAY Motor Works Update
I thought I would let everyone know what we've been up to lately.
As most know we have been doing all the NAMCC races and doing very well. Thanks to some help from some sponsors like M7(big thanks), Wilwood,Bilstein, helix, and also several individuals that made some donations over the last few weeks. That really shows how great the MINI community is.
Yesterday we just got back from the Summit Point races. This was the best event we had yet, I know we keep saying this but the events are just getting better every time.
With alot of M7 parts and FedEx (thanks Peter) we built Matt Jensen's car into a 210hp Group 4 car that was able to qualify first for race one, place 2nd in class for race 1, Then post fastest lap for group 4 in race 2 and win his class. This was Matt's first NAMCC event and I think he could have done better in race one, but was a little leery of the brakes after finding an air bubble in the system during qualifying.
We also participated in MINI Meet East. This was a really fun event with it being about 80% classics. We did installs on Fri. and Sat, but still had time to take it all in. I would recommend trying to make it next year.
As for the shop we are still going strong and continuing to provide the best service we can. We are actually planning on moving to a new larger facility, but still need to work out the lease.
Watch for some group buys or specials coming soon. Next event will be our install party in Atlanta Sept. 16th/17th. With the race the following weekend at Carolina Motorsports Park Sept. 23th/24th.
Give us a call or an email if you need anything for your MINI.
