Anybody know where in Winnipeg to buy a helmet that's legal for Winnipeg Sports Car Club AutoX driving? I had a frustrating wander around a nearby CrappyTire outlet with no luck there...

Oh yeah, I joined the Winnipeg Sports Car Club, and hope to be involved in most (if not all) their remaining Saturday AutoX events at the Ex parking area...

That's excellent! A good place for reasonably priced helmets is Canadian Motorcycle on Main Street (near Redwood).

Nice to see Freeze out at the Auto-X event today - too bad he didn't get a chance to drive

Above is a link to the auto-x forum which if you are interested in participating you should definitely join. Registration opens usually a week in advance for the events and spots go FAST! Payment by PAYPAL is accepted and will avoid you getting bumped to the "waiting list" in most cases.

Mark had an 8th place finish and I had my first 15th (moving up quickly my first year at this!) out of somewhere around 67 drivers.
