My Tmobile Sidekick 3 arrived today and it rocks!!! It's finally got Bluetooth and built in Mp3 player and a 1.3MP camera as well as removable battery and mini SD card. Size hasn't changed much, but it feels different. Kinda plasticy, but the keyboard is much improved. I can definitely type faster and more accurately with it now. People who email or text me normally say I type on the SK as fast or faster than they do on a full size keyboard.

I read one guy arrived at the TMobile store in Santa Monica at 5AM and had 124 people ahead of him--apparently people began camping out at 2PM the day before! He waited 7 hours before he got his. I chose to upgrade online and have it sent next day for $15,

You're gonna love it. I wasn't sure if the upgrade was going to be worth it, but with it in my hands and just a few hours of use, my SK2 feels really old now!

I just transferred some MP3's via USB as well as some of my favorite digital pix and it was super easy.

Sound quality is up, websites are faster to load and display. The apps still feel the same. The suckiest part is that any downloaded apps or games need to be downloaded again and it doesn't appear that you get credit to download again.

 

What a shame that such a simple device will never see the light of day in a decent network. TMobile is such a sorry carrier. I really miss my Sidekick. I owned the original Color and the Sidekick II. I left the simplicity because of the network. :(

 

I can't get over that they did not build wi-fi into this new handheld. I will get the t-mobile MDA or SDA. Less money and a better UI and Wi-Fi.
