Changes to MINIusa: Bulid Your Own

Just for fun, I rebuilt my MCS and noticed today that new JCW accessories are now available.

I am really liking the JCW leather interior with the red piping.. hmmm

or howabout the JCW roof spoiler in Black/white/silver?

The steeringwheel is also pretty sweet.

Good find.

Actually, although it's very neat that they added them to the configurator, the information has been available on those JCW accessories at MotoringFile for some time now. If you don't read MF, you should. NAM is the best MINI discussion forum (in North America... MINI2 would hold the International honors), and MF is the best MINI news site. They compliment each other very well.

Check out the following articles at MF:

MotoringFile >> Archive >> New JCW Products US Release & Install Info
MotoringFile >> Archive >> Official JCW Gear ****/E-Brake Retrofit
MotoringFile >> Archive >> MF Review: The JCW Leather Dash

Note also that even though MINIUSA only released the dash with black or red stitching here in the USA, it is also available in lapis blue, green, gray, white, yellow, brown and beige stitching... you just have to order it from a foreign source like NewMINIStuff. Be sure to specify left hand drive though.

Having seen Gabe's (Gabriel Bridger - the guy who runs MotoringFile) JCW leather dash with red stitching at MINIs on the Dragon, I love it... and I'll probably get it eventually in lapis blue stitching.

Yeah, but they still haven't added the new sport stripes.

I would have jumped at the leather dash in a second when doing my initial order but now that I have lived with the CR dash, I just can't part company with it - especially in a cabrio where it seems to wrap the exterior into the interior.

The leather swag is really really sweet though....

I know the spoiler has been available for quite some time now. From the website, I didn't know they were in three different colors. But when I ordered my MINI, I found out that i had the choice of three colors.
