Help needed on wiring OEM driving lights from Mini Mania

Hi, tomorrow i plan to install some new OEM driving lights i bought from Mini Mania UK. The instructions I have are the official BMW instructions, however I have noticed that there are some differences in my wiring loom opposed to what is in the instructions. For instance I have no on/off switch with my kit and there are also less wires. The wiring loom consists of the following:

1> Two wires (+ and -) for the left light
2> Two wires (+ and -) for the right light
3> A positive cable for the battery or high beam positive wire
4> A negative wire for the earth
5> A small brown wire comming from the relay

Firstly I am unsure where to wire the main positive cable to, should this be the battery or the high beam positive wire (if its to the battery the lights would surley be on all the time as i have no switch) ?

Secondly what is the small brown wire comming from the relay for, does this need to be connected to something ?

Any help appeciated

Thanks in advance

the "3> A positive cable for the battery or high beam positive wire" should go here.
