Meet at 6:30am and roll-out at 7:00 so we can caravan together to the Huntington Beach Concourse car show.

PLEASE NOTE: Your car does not have to be a "show car" and I just got word from a good source that you can register as late as the day of the event, although your car will not be judged. Just show up early - registration is from 6 'til 8.

Please consider showing up and hanging out with us! We are expecting over 40, possibly as many as 50 Minis and MINIs and this is a charity event to raise money for the Huntington Beach Library. We had a great time last year - 100s of cars to drool over, live entertainment, food, and all in a beautiful park with a nice breeze.

I would recommend packing a lunch (or at least some drinks in a cooler) and bring lawn chairs. This is going to be a lot of fun this year and it looks like the weather is going to be nice.

I intend to come down for the event and join up with your caravan. I have never been to the HB gathering and am wondering what problems there may be if I need to leave by 10:30 to make another commitment further south in OC? Once you are in and parked can you get out before the thing is over?

Don't get me wrong, its not that I don't want to spend the entire day with all of you.

Once you are in, you are in for the duration. But it's a great time and you get to hang out with lots of Mini owners!
