I would like to thank all the members who came out to help with the bone marrow drive. Special thanks to Greenville and Columbia SC members who drove all the way up to help.
Our final total was 52 people that were tested to be put on the National Register.
I was working with helping people do the mouth swabs and there was a lady who was just shaking. She said i have waited so long to do this and she mover her purse and showed me a picture of her 1 year old son, who had passed away from cancer. Just talking to her made it all more than worth while. Later I discovered that she and her husband had donated all the food for the event.
