Today marked the end of Federal tires on my mini. Here are my opinions on these tires. They were the crappiest pieces of crapola it has ever been my misfortune to own. The tread life was pitiful, around 5K miles on the front wheels. They were twitchy and not predictable in handling. They wanted to pull either left or right depending on the road surface and they followed every crack in the road (can't remember the proper term for this behavior). In short, I would not put a set of these tires on a mid 80's yugo beater, much less a fine sport compact like a mini. Buyer beware. I replaced them with the new tread pattern BF Goodrich G-Force KDW.
