This message is to gage interest in a possible event to be held during the Dragon on Friday 5/5 for M2C2 members only. The Lost Sea is the largest underground lake in the US and is located just outside Sweetwater Tenn. It is accessible via the Cherohala Hwy. and is about 11/2 hours from Fontana. They conduct 1 hour long boat tours and the Hickory Chapter is wondering how many members are interested in doing this. We are planning it for our club members who are attending the Dragon but any member could participate whether they are attending the Dragon or not. We would plan a meeting location in Robbinsville at about 11 am for those not attending the Dragon. We would get lunch while we were out so the entire event would probably last about 5 hours.

I would think that we would want to get at least 10-12 people to sign up to make it worth it and would probably limit the total number to 25 (or 20 cars). So check it out and let me know if you want to do this no later than 4/7 so we can make reservations. Please indicate how many you would have per car.
