Isnt that something to do with the brake pad wear sensor, or low brake fluid ?

Ive tried doing a few searches but came up with nothing that says. Is it not in your MINI Manual ?

All the lights have symbols which are supposed to tell you what is wrong - and the MINI owners manual details all the lights / symbols.
You can register at the MINI USA owners lounge and download the manual if you've not got one.

But anyway, a yellow light which you can't figure out is probably the runflat tire indicator (see attached pic). To clear it, you have to press the button under the e-brake (which has the same runflat tire symbol) and drive some distance so the car can learn the wheel rotation speeds.

So Dan,

Let me get this straight, you're repairing a totalled car without a Bentley manual or a users manual?

Hmmmmm.

That be the brake pad light!
Maybe that is why it was wrecked.

Depends ... if he had navigation and the twin pod dials, then the run flat is about where he described
