Saddle up partners for Columbia Picnic
Saddle up partners for Columbia Picnic
Spring is in the air. Is there a better time for a picnic in a western town? The Columbia Chapter is planning a picnic in a replica of a western town in Elgin. This replica was created by a retired school principal and his wife. Please refer to the attached picture. I will be firming up the date and taking a head count at the upcoming quarterly meeting. The Columbia Chapter would like to host the picnic on April 22nd or 29 weather permitting. If you are interested please let me know.
Since this is private property, we will need to bring some tables and chairs but I promise it will be worth the trip! He has all the buildings decked out with period furniture.
I hope there is interest, this will be fun and a great history lesson. I will have additional pictures and info at the meeting.
