Event Buttons for MOTD?

Just wanted to ask around and see if people are really buying the event buttons to wear at the Dragon. The button is only $5, but I dont want to look like an idiot and be the only one wearing it. I'm an outgoing person and consider myself friendly when going to events like this. I guess I'm trying to justify if its worth spending $5 or not.

Post some feedback if any of you are buying (or already have) the event buttons

Got mine last year. Love it. Wear it to just about every MINI event I attend.

I bought one for my wife and I. I figure it's worth $5 to at least not have everyone I meet ask me my name. They can just look at the button and go "Oh you're PassatDoTd". Then they can sneer and walk away. =D

I ordered one. I figure that, regardless of the Dragon, it will be a pretty cool thing to wear when I go into dingy, sketchy bars, or get introduced to future girlfriend's parents, or visit a construction site for work. The uses really go on and on.

I ordered two (for me and my wife). I like talking to other people who wear them, because I'm sure to get their name right. So, I'm guessing that other people like to see them too.

After the Dragon, I think I'll turn one of our buttons into a fridge magnet.

I've used mine for two years now. Time for an update. It is also good to put your screen name somewhere on your car too.

I bought mine last year. Since most of us only know one another by nicknames, it's a great way to identify people, as well as show off your MINI.

Bought one last year, love it...

Bought another one this year with S-Lites on instead (my winter wheels), so I'll be able to use it for events during the winter months every year...

and

I plan on buying a third one next year, since I'll probably have a different set of summer wheels!

Had to get a new one this year. My last name and the state I live in changed since MOTD '05. No, didn't get married...got UNmarried and took maiden name back.

Thanks guys and/or gurls for making 'em Buttons look so kwell!!
I'd wear mine anywhere.

These buttons are part of the total MINI package if you know what I mean!

Event buttons

hate to ask...but...are these special orders, or, do they come with the event bag you get when your register (the latter I have not done yet)? Could someone PM me? Thanks Scott

I have two MINIclo buttons! I wear one (all the time at the Dragon, even when I go there in July and October) very happily and stash the other one in my MINI collection.

Scott, I think the button is a separate purchase. Go to this link http://store.northamericanmotoring.com/home.php?cat=24 to order your button.
