The doc's given me the go ahead to drive after 5 weeks waiting for my achilles tendon to heal after surgery and as of this coming Tuesday I'll be back in the drivers seat again. It's been way too long and I'm really looking forward to zipping through the gears. Even my wife has learned to drive her in that time so now she(the mini) has to be retrained.

I still have to wear a walking boot for another week longer, but after that I'm hoping it's clear sailing till our late May trip to Florida. Should be a hoot driving the Skyline Drive and Blueridge Pkwy. Hopefully the surgery corrected the tendonitis and I'll be able to drive pain free.

Can I get an "Amen"? Yeehaawww!

I emphathize with you! Achille heel tendonitis very painful and months and months to heel. Sorry you had to have surgery!

 

Glad to hear you can drive again, I can't imagine a day w/out driving. I hope this isn't related to leadfoot's desiase
