I am looking for a high quality MINI logo to experiment with in photo shop. I would like to have it be at least 400 x 400 pixels with a black background. Images found on the web are all too small or low quality scans.

Why not use a vector logo? Or at least start with one. Just make it bigger than you need so you can scale it down.

As I'm sure you probably already know, if you start with a raster logo (such as a jpg, gif, or similar) you can pretty much only scale down. With a vector you can scale it to any size you need without losing quality and if you're using Illustrator you can keep scaling it up or down without any issues.
