transmission fluid leak

Is it normal for there to be a little bit of oil on the outside of the transmission? Has anybody changed their transmission bolt yet? If so, was it difficult getting a torque wrench on the "fill bolt"? - from the looks of it today it looked a little tight - what angle/where did you insert the wrench?

If you have a big wheel opening like I do, you can stick a long extension through there for both plugs. If not, jack up the front and take your wheel off. Good access that way. You just need to make sure the car is level.
