Where to put DVD player?

I don't know if anyone else has gone this route, but I am trying to figure out where to mount a dvd player. I could either go with an in dash to replace the head unit, or I could get a stand alone but cannot figure out where I would mount it. Any ideas? I wonder if one would fit in the glove box?

Jeff,
I personally went with an in dash unit. I didn't want to give up the space in the glove box or under the toggle switches. These are the 2 locations I have seen.

I have an Alpine 310 unit. It works great. I had the shop that did the install put a toggle switch in so I can turn the monitor on when you don't have the parking brake on. This is technically not fully legal, but with a 2 year old to entertain it was the ony way to go as I have a sunroof and an overhead unit was out.

Let me know if you want I can send you some pictures of my install. ///ACS330ci (aka Steve) has seen my install and can vouch for it as well.

The rest of the system now is an iPod adapter, and Diamond Audio speakers in the stock positions. I am planning on a false floor in the boot with a 10" JL sub and 5 channel amp, but am kinda caught up in performance mods right now!

I chose to use the nav screen as my monitor since I never use it, its less to steal or brake, an inexpensive way to go, and looks stock. I would do under the toggles but I have more toggles and my garage door opener underneath. Might go with the glove box, I would rather have it hidden anyway, I just wasnt sure if it would fit. So I guess its the glove or an in-dash without screen. Hmmm...

Does anyone know if it would be possible to tap straight into the CD changer connection in the boot for the audio and power? Is the connection some sort of harness that I would need some sort of interface like Ice<Link, or are there RCA's? I could stash it under my false floor if I could use a remote with it.

I think I have decided to put it in the glove box.
