The secret to Euro Shelf install is...

To cut out the tabs further. The amount of space the tabs on the Euroshelf are cut our aren't enough for it to bend easily and snap into place on the interior dash shelf. By cutting out the tabs deeper, they are able to flex more and get over the clip.

But dont cut all of them, only 3 of the 4 grooves. One groove is already too close to a hole in the unit itself. Cut that one too deeply may cause you to over cut it. (you can see which on im referring to when you flip the unit over)

Also, using a craftsman pick as someone suggested is also helpful.

Second: Replace the blue plastic speed nuts with metal ones ffrom a hardware store. Should run you about $.75 for two of them. Bring the plastic ones with you to the store to match the depth and size. The metal speed nuts dont float around as much as the blue plastic ones. I was able to clip them in place under the dash and they stayed put and didn't wiggle around as i installed the unit. They also accepted the screw alot easier as they are already threaded somewhat (unlike the blue ones)

Good luck!
