R50/53 Same color scheme again?
Same color scheme again?
I recently had to pick a color scheme for my new '06 MCS. I found myself
once again choosing the same scheme.....ds/w with original white bonnet stripes.....despite all of the new colors that have appeared since my '02 Mini debuted. I still think dark silver is terrific, but I'm a little surprised that nothing new has come along to grab me away.

Both my 2003 and 2004 MINI Coopers were Indi Blue and White. On my second MC I went down to 15" wheels with non-runflat tires and white bonnet stripes, but otherwise they looked the same.

To each his own...
Our 03 MCS was CR, and although we loved it and considered it for the next one we decided against it. Life's too short and we thought that there are just too many good Mini colors to chose from to do a repeat performance and not try another one of them.

I've always been a PW/B fan until I purchased mine, which was a 05 Jet Black/White MCS, right before they discontinued the colour. Now, I've fell in love with the Royal Grey/Silver combo, and will trade in for one of those before that gets discontinued
Interesting. My original post indicated that I had fooled around with new color schemes. I just started to play in a different direction and came up with a ds/ds combination with new style black bonnet stripes and chrome side-mirrors, as well as the silver M7 lower grill I already own. This is the first bit of new inspiration I've had and I feel quite ready to act on it.
