This is the rack that I have been interested in for sea kayaks. I'm glad to see that you spread it further apart than Thule showed in the layout. Have you noticed any roof deformation? Do you have a sunroof, and if so, does the rack interfere with the opeing?

Thule sets the feet on the bars and the feet setup just right. I dont have a sunroof, but FYI, the inside edge of the feet are 3.5 inches from the top edge of the rain gutters. It should'nt be an issue with your sun roof. I'll leave them on the car for the 18th meeting. I also move them based on what I'm doing.
