Factory NAV + CD Changer + iPod Adapter

Can this be done?

I own an 03 MCS with the HK system.

It came with a CD changer and has the NAV option.

I purchased an IPOD adapter kit.

Anyone do this?

I don't have the CD Changer, but I do have an IceLink Plus. Apparantly there is a cable (with a BMW part No.) that you must use when you have the CD Changer installed. It was listed in the iceLink install manual (don't have it here in front of me).

I'm curious to know if the same will work if I install factory Sirius.

The Cable is actually to allow you to have Sirius and the CD Changer, I'm almost positive that the CD Changer doesn't have a pass through plug like the Sirius does.

You can't do the CD Changer, factory Sirius AND the ICELink with the CD changer cable. The Sirius actually connects to the CD Changer connecter. The Sirius has just 1 pass thorugh connector for that CD changer cable which you can connect either to the CD Changer or the ICELink, but not both.

As for the question in the original post, from what I've heard the MINI iPod adapter connects to the radio differently than the other accessories that are available. I've never heard of anybody with your setup putting in the iPod adapter but that doesn't mean it can't be done...

I would suggest either calling your local dealership or Classic in Mentor OH (Please check the sponsor directory here on NAM for their contact information) as they should be able to answer your question....

I'm thinking about buying an '03 S with the H/K and Nav system. Would definitely want ipod integration. I do not see the sponsor directory on the site anywhere. any more info is appreciated.

Toolbar on the left towards the top of the screen, the one labeled Main Menu... It's the fourth selection from the bottom in that toolbar

Or go here https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/sponsors
