I manufacture a hitch that fits on the 02 to present Mini Cooper S. I sell the hitch for $350.00 plus a $40.00 shipping and handling charge. The hitch is a hideaway design and is nearly invisible when not in use. The hitch is compatible with most 1 1/4 inch bike and ski rack attachments. The recommended maximum tongue weight for the hitch is 100 lbs and a 1000 lbs maximum trailer weight. The installation is relatively easy with common hand tools and a drill. The complete hitch weighs about 25 lbs. and the part that stays on the car all the time weighs about 14 lbs.
