Suspension Upgrade to H&R spring, Pleaes help me.

I have a question all of the Mini Owner out there. I have a Mini Cooper with Sport package and I was wondering if I wanted to upgrade my with a H&R lowering sport springs do I have to change the shocks too or can I still keep my original one that the Sport package come with. Also if I decided to keep my original shock, would that affect my performance? Please help me!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to MCO!

You will have no problems keeping your stock struts and shocks when using the H&R or KW springs - that's what they are designed for.

I'm running the KW springs with stock shocks and have had no issues with hitting bumpstops or a choppy ride...and the KW place the MINI lower than the H&R. I will say that the springs plus runflat tires plus Madness rear sway was choppy....until I added Yokohama AVS ES100 tires, smooth now!!
