Where did you mount your Control Unit II box (DF05002)?

I am thinking of mounting the control unit under the steering wheel, cutting out the plastic, so the display and buttons are accessible. Don't really want a parcel shelf...

Anyone find a better place ?

Any advance comments to make my life easier is very welcome...

It could work for me, but I am getting two gauges on an alta pod by the tach this week, and I was think on putting two more down using the lower gauge pod thing... drilled out to accept the 60mm / 2 -3/8" size.

Not sure the control unit would work with the gauges below it...
