iPod Nano owners?

On Monday I picked up my new 4GB Black Nano and this thing absolutely rocks!!! It works fantastic with my MINI ipod adaptor setup. The sound quality is excellent and quickly reminds you why the H/K stereo-iPod combo is one of the best things offered from factory.

I only wish I could see the song/album name on the stereo display. Hopefully MINI will release a firmware update to enable this feature. otherwise, no complaints

The Nano is a fantastic iPod. I love the fact that it has no internal moving parts (Flash vs Hard Drive) and the size makes it perfect for MINI use. Kudos to Apple for one of the most stylish and cool sounding iPods on the market today.

So, are you "Nanoing"?

I broke down and bought myself a black 2gig nano about a month ago. I was somewhat jealous of my kids and their iPod minis, and somehow justified the purchase.

I use it at work, when I train, and in the car (non Mini for now) from time to time.

Getting my iPod adaptor hooked up next week - and then I'll be rocking my 4GB Black Nano as well.

Cheers,

In order to get ID Tags on the HU you must have an 05 head unit (that is MP3 capable). I have no idea if Mini will ever offer this feature, but the Dension iceLink Plus does, as long as you don't have NAV.

Yeah, I have a '05 MCS with the MP3 capability, but the song ID tags are not displayed in the HU when I hook up my iPod Nano via the OEM iPod adaptor. This is a limitation of the iPod adaptor's controlling firmware, as the song/album/artist information is already stored and sorted in the ipod device itself.

I was never really sold on th eipod untill they came out with the nano. Everyone else in the family has an ipod mini, but for me I could always burn whatever music I wanted to hear to a disk and listen to it in the. The mini ipod was still a little too bulky to cary around at the gym ( in my opinion )

When I saw how small the nano was and it was 4 gb, I was sold. I love the nano !! Now I will add an adapter so I can listen to it in th ecar as well.

2 thumbs up for the NANO !!
