air bag warning stickers

The first thing I did on my PT Cruiser when I got it was cover the airbag warning stickers on the visors with really nice PT logo stickers. Does anyone make something like this for the MINI or do people just remove them?
First time posting pic, hope I do it right.

Lots of people just remove them. You'll need some sort of solvent (goo-gone, denatured alcohol, etc) and patience.

Hate these stickers! Do they get 'dealer installed' or at the factory? If the dealer installs them maybe they won't if you ax 'em.

I just cut out a few peices to fit from some mat black sticky back sheets (motorcycle number plate back ground) and you don't even notice them any more.

The PT sticker looks very good, but I have not seen any "mini logo" that would cover them up, so went to plan B.

I disliked the airbag stickers also and used several solvents and methods recommended here and nothing happened. I heard that on the 2005 the glue or whatever attaches the stickers may be different than what was used before. I had to scrap the stickers off in tiny bits. It took me all day to do this. But they are off. ski

At one time someone had a file you could use to print new ones on your own. There are several funny/joke ones floating around and on ebay. Maybe someone could post a link to the file again.

What is the size of the airbag stickers?

I too covered up my PT Cruiser airbag warnings. I have a MCS on order and would like to design some graphics to cover up the warning.

What is the size of it? When I finish, I'll upload the result for others. I found plently of places that will print custom stickers.

i used goof off

after quite a few applications and lots of finger nail work, it came off - but a lot more difficult than in my 3 series. the adhesive/sticker is definetely different. my 3 series sticker peeled off in a few pieces. the mini sticker came off in about 200 small pieces.

they should spend more time making the car as durable as the sticker.

i have put the passenger side sticker off for now..

I used isopropyl alcohol. soaked a paper towel with it and let it sit on the sticker for 30 minutes or so. then it peeled the sticker off in about 200 little scraps. Was a big pain but it all came off
