Hi My wife and i own 2 2003 Minis. Just started having problems with hers at 27500 miles...took it in for service...door lock drivers side doesn't work....sunroof and windows going open on their own? Then we take it in with a list of these things that need doing...They REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION???? We get the car back and drive it for 2 days then it overheats...mmm not really overheats, it just sprays coolant all over inside of the bonnet. we take it back to the dealer and they tell me it was a bad expansion container (coolant resevior?) they fix that and say they are fixing the window/lock issue.
we pick it up drive it 15 miles and the drivers side remote lock does not work again...3 visit to the dealer in a week..anyone ? my Mini only has 12000 on it I have a motorcycle.
anyone? I am reading all of these problems are common. Any new answers?

 

Wow I haven't heard anything like that before. Hopefully it will get taken care of soon. Must be nice having more than 1 MINI in the family.
