17x8 +37 with 235/40/17
17x8 offset +37 with 235/40/17 Pirelli tires
So here is the question will it work? Overall Diameter is the same as stock. So my question is the width is it too wide?? Will I need spacers in the front or rear ?? A minor trim in the back is cool..
Car is a MCS stock height no plans to lower it..
To anyone that can help

Truth is you just won't know exactly until you try them, ... BUT,...
most likely you will not need spacers, BUT you will have to bang out the rear fenders (under the plastic flairs) with a ball peened hammer, trim the heck out of the rear flairs to now fit over the now modified body, trim away a large amount of plastic fender well in front and rear, trim the lips of the front flairs.
Can be done, but the 37 offset may be a problem. 40 would be OK in front and almost too much for the rear.
NOTE: If you don't have front camber plates and rear control arms and are not running a lot of neg. camber then again, none of the above will help.
NOTE:, Sorry, the above is if the car has been lowered. I can't say that the same needs to be done for non-lowered cars. I re-read your post and see that you will not lower the car.
I run 235/40/17s on 7.5 with 45 offset. I use a 5mm front spacer and a 3mm rear, ... and all the work above.

Thanks,
So you have made 235/40/17 tires work! Now it sounds like a little touch up work was needed in the fender area but you made it happen!!
From what you have described I will have some scrubing and will need to trim some to a lot of plastic underneath to make it happen..
Stock height may help but width is more of the issue the height...
Thanks agin, I will keep you posted on my adventure..
