BFG g-force sport vs. Kumho Ecsta ASX

I was all set to buy the Kumho tire at my local NTB for $91 a tire but they had none left. They sold me the BFG g-Force instead at $105 which they said was a much better tire. I have the tires on now and first of all they seem to be a big improvement over the Pirelli Eufori@'s I had originally but I can't help thinking the Kumho's might have been a better tire for me because:

They were cheaper
They have a treadlife warranty
They are have a higher UTQG 420 vs. 340
They are all season

Why torture myself you ask? Because I have 30 days to trade these in for the Kumhos if I don't like them. The BFG tires seem a little noisy, are the Kumhos going to be quieter? The Kumhos seem to have a pretty good wet & dry traction rating, how do they compare to the BFG. Will I *really* be losing some performance to go to all season tires in this case? I know in general you are supposed to but in this specifc case will I? How about noise and ride comfort? As I said the BFG tires are a little noisy.

Both tires are 215/45-17.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I've got the sports in the same size. They wear great and for a "cheap" tire they really hold the road well. The Kumho's might do better in foul weather, but the G-Force's will outshine them on dry pavement.

I'll chime in too. I have the BFG G-Force Sport tires. I like them a lot! They're wearing nicely (slowly) and they stick very well in wet and dry conditions. The Kumho's might be better but you've got a good set of tires right now.

I think the BFG's G Force sport ride more quietly and the Kumho ASX handles better.
