center hub inserts, falling out......

Those things are a POS! I lost one on the way home from picking up my new car. First thing everyone says when they see my car? Hey, you're missing a logo cap there! My dealer sent me a replacement in the mail and when I went out to put it on I checked the others by tapping on them. 2 more fell off! I have 3 sitting here now. What crap. I'm trying to figure out what is going to keep them on. They should have used locking tabs or something instead of a dab of what looks like contact cement.

Ideas??????

ps: quality is in the details!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which wheels are you guys having problems with?

I have X-Lites on my early '03 and have never had a problem with them popping out if they are fully seated. It is possible to get them only paritially seated, which may be part of your problem.

There is no 'seating'. We're talkin bout the black, aluminum MINI logo plate that is glued in the center of the center hub. They come loose and just fall off.

Never mind then. I was refering to the plastic and metal "hub caps" that fit in the center of the X-lites.

Good luck.
