I've been having some trouble pulling up michiganminis's site... but had a few questions:

How good is the place we are eating when it comes to vegetarian fare? (not terribly important, but it'd be nice to know)

How long (time) is the trip? (I'm assuming we drive to Hell and back, then eat some food AFTER)

What does "meandering" mean? (I went to MIS, and was a bit shocked to be driving anywhere from 5-15 miles over the speed limit on the route there. I'm one of those sticklers, but was, uh, following at the MINI leaders speed (being car # 4 didn't help). I need to avoid a ticket as if I get one, I'll lose the good driver 15% off discount on my insurance.)



The last question was written to get more chuckles than a real response .

 

veg food question. you have a good choice of a lot of foods and i am sure you will find something that you can eat. it's a normaly american type list of foods with a few other good items.

the whole trip will take around 3 hours or so (i think), but the first stop is about 15-20 min. into it. a cider mill with cider and donuts, and some other things. next is hell. not sure about time, it's a fun drive, and again we stop at the only place to stop. there is a ice cream shop and party like store. bathroom brakes at each stop also. next is some more driving then lunch (i think if i have it right).

as for speeds. some people go the speed limit. others do not. last year we went off in groups of 5 to cross the street in small packs, but we all ended up catching up to each other after too long. if they pull over one mini they all need to pull over...lol but we have never been stoped and most of the roads we are on are out in the middle of nowhere and no one is really on them. go your own pase. if someone is pushing you. let them pass or tell them to back off on the talk-about.
