Looking for a Mini

OK. I am new to the forum. Over 30 years ago, when I was in the Army, I belonged to a sports car club with a bunch of guys that had Minis. They were always fun cars . . . so I decided I am going to look for one for myself.

I am looking to purchase a used MCS. What tips can anyone give me on what problem area to look for in the 03 to 05 MSC?

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

buy new

as the used prices are still pretty high buy new for close to the same price, order what you want, get the full warranty, better gearing, and apparently more reliability and better build quality - gleaned from what i have read on the three mini boards i frequent. bmw repairs after warranty are not cheap. i have a MC on order myself. my civic was just waaaay tooooo boring...

Good luck either way.

Do you want a Mini (Morris) or a MINI (BMW)?

If you want a MINI, I would suggest a 05 over the 03-04's. Better Transmissions ETC. And for the MCS more HP!

Don't expect a used car to be much less in cost than a brand new 2006! A year old MINI will hold 95%+ its original purchase price!
