Hey all....I finally test drove a Mini today. Took about 40 minutes to get to the closest place around me that carries them. But let me say I enjoyed it. I wanted to really push it to the limit but, well, you know how test drives are.

Anyways, getting down to the real point. I wanted to get the Mini in indie blue with white top and mirrors, however, in the brochure they show the colors available for both the cooper and the cooper S and electric blue was also an option for the cooper. Now the only color I would want more the indie blue would be the electric blue. Is this right, that the regular cooper comes in electric blue? I didn't notice that till I got home to look through the brochure that I saw it so I couldn't ask the dealer.

Electric blue is available on the MCS only. Indi Blue is an extra charge (metallic) paint for both Cooper and MCS. If you need proof, read the fine-print of your brochure!

 

I drive a Cooper with a white top and mirrors, it's a show stopper! Stay with your 1st impression.

From what I heard at the dealership yesterday, the Gold color is coming out within the next few weeks. Should be interesting to see how it looks in person.
