Does anyone know where I can get kosei k1 racing wheels in 16 x 6.5. I am racing in G Stock (autocross) and these are the lightest wheels that I can afford. I have googled, ebayed and called from the yellow pages with no luck. I would also be very interested in used wheels. Any help would be appreciated. I am also interested in other options. SSR's are way out of my price range.



P.S. I am trying to get the wheels in time for Topika in September

Contact www.18Racing.com for lightweight 16x6.5's. They can get the Rota Slipstreams in the correct size for $490 shipped. Weight is 13 lbs each. I ordered a set from them and received them a couple of weeks ago. Excellent deal for lightweight stock class legal wheels. I am not sure if they have them in stock though. Your best bet is to call them and talk to Jessica, the phone number is 925-339-3828.

 

The only way you'll get 16x6.5 wheels in time for Topeka is to buy new SSR wheels $1200-1300), or find some used SSR's, Rotas, or one of the other few stock class legal wheels used. The new Rotas seem to take a couple of months for delivery. I plan to order a set for next season.

There is a guy selling a used set of SSR's here, but he is asking way too much IMHO ($1100). I've never seen 16x6.5" Kosei wheels in the correct offset and bolt pattern for a Mini. I don't think there were ever any made.
