OK, if this is the right wheel you had in mind-

It's the R93 5 spoke Rocket 14.8 pounds silver or white finish, +45mm offset

Since most 15x5.5" MINI rims are about 12 to 15 pounds each I'd expect any new 15" rim to be in the same range and likely 14 to 15 pounds.

 

that looks like a convertable rim to me, i think they have been out for a while havent they?

 

It does look like the convertible wheel, and in fact may be, but it's standard rim on the '06 Cooper hatches, per the mini site configurator
