Bobbi and I went to D&R today. We were there looking just wednesday and met Richard. This was about closing time and he told us to come back on Saturday. Today we test drove a 2004 Indi Blue with white stripes The car had 7,500 miles but had never been titled. They offered $1,000 for my Stratus and I owe $1,800. Another month and that would have paid the Stratus off. We discussed our financial situation and were assured that BMW/MINI North America would finance our purchase. $400 more and we would have came home to Avon in a MINI Cooper!!!

We were coming out of the show room and TENCAN saw us and they said hello. I showed them my 1/10 scale RC MINI and Mr. TENCAN asked where they could get one. Then they commented that the 2004 we were looking at did not have sport pack as Mrs.TENCAN pointed out that the car didn't have the spoiler nor did it have the fog light package. Richard confirmed this. MrsDiff and I are seriously deciding if we need the sport pack or not. We pay off the Stratus in 3 months. Then It will take two to three months for taxes. Then we could sell the minivan and put it and some of our tax refund money to the purchase of a 2006 MINI Cooper! I know know how difficult it must be for those who custom order a MINI to wait for it to come accross the pond!

 

Forgot to mention..

Now that MrsDiff has driven a MINI Cooper. She has said that she now "WANTS" a MINI Cooper.

Before I would say, "Honey what do you think of that MINI?"

She would reply, "It is nice."

Nice cute little car..

Now she has said, "You may be the Primary driver but I get to drive it home from the dealer!"
