Vroooooom or Eeeeeeennng ?

Something occured to me today as I caught funny stares from my co-workers....

I make an "Eeeeeeeeeeeeng" sound when I imitate my car, as opposed to the deep "Vrrooooooom" sound I used to make in my not so long ago childhood, when imitating other fast cars.

So.... anyone else out there make different car noises then before when imitating a fast car (preferably with a fast MINI Cooper S in mind)

...or should I just be concerned of the fact that I make random whining sounds when sitting at my desk?

I also make sounds when I am sitting down in my office! But we are not going to talk about those.

I pretend there is nothing until my supercharger starts to whine... then I get complaints that "that doesn't sound like a car", "why are you making noises?", "You know you don't have to make noise while sitting INSIDE your car", "Are you nuts?", and "WTF is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (slow increase in volume)?"

for me it depends on the car...even cooper and cooper s are so distinct...let alone some of the other cars...like the 6spd supra I was in a day ago...it goes...

wwoooooooooaaahhhhHHHHHHH! PITISHHHHH!

well that's full throttle...less is like

woooooUUH tishh ti ti ti ti

uh yeah...so...umm I could go on and on about this...and the typing does the sounds I make no justice...

let's just say my older bruther and I would have our mother in tears at the dinner table cause we would have full conversaions with sound effects
