Anybody know of a reputable MINI mechanic in the Chicagoland area? I'm looking to have some H-Sport springs and a beefier rear swaybar installed, and as confident as I am of being able to do the job myself, I think I'd rather pass the buck on this one and have a mechanic do the job for me.

Thanks I totally forgot about Perfect Power. Never heard of EuroQuipe though. Obviously never had any work done with either of them, are their prices reasonable?

 

I think they were doing pulley installs for like $375-395 with the parts at one time, so should be pretty reasonable. :smile:

(not 100% sure on the price but i remember it being a pretty good deal).

 

Euroquipe is a great shop and I can't recommend them enough. Two really great guys to work with. Plus, their labor is really cheap, last time I was in they were charging $52/hour. Consideriung their expertise, and an immaculate shop, I was expecting more like $70.

They quoted me a price of $352.75 for H-Sport rear sway bar, including install. I thought that was pretty fair.
