Finally got to drive a MINI Cooper!

Better than I could Imagine!

We drove to Chesterton, IN to visit my wife's parents. I saw a BRG MCSC at a local restaurant with Yellow Checkered stripes. My wife confirmed that this was the car that belonged to her former dentist. My Mother-inlaw was just at his office thursday and spole with him about his MCSC. Turns out he got it in Chicago. It has the full JCWorks package. He offered me the keys and I couldn't refuse! Although not having driven a manual for 5 years now, it all came back after 3 stops!

Simply AWESOME! Although I did not launch it hard, I did give it full throttle into second and chirped the tires! The car was far better than I could imagine. Turned the Radio off so I could expreience the JCW music. The drive was almost as satisfying as my first time with my wife (my first Sexual experience)

Tiffany,I now understand your sickness. I thought I wanted a MINI, now that I have driven a MCSc I KNOW that I NEED a MINI!

I don't necessarily have to have a MCS with JCWorks package, but I NEED A MINI!

You know you were spoiled by driving a MCSc JCW for the very first drive!! Looks like you will have to trade in the Dodge!

Well, friend...you did not drive a MINI Cooper...or even a MINI Cooper S. You had a one night stand w/ a freakin' JCW...and now life as you know it is forever changed. I drove a friend's JCW once...it was other worldly!!! A thing of beauty. Lucky for me I'm freakishly happy about jumping right back in my humble little Cooper, a phenomenon that still amazes and bewilders me....but it is so. Love is blind, they say.

I'm afraid your brazen and reckless encounter has exposed you to a motoring transmitted disease (MTD) affecting many here. The only cure....and it comes at a price......is your own MINI. However, early detection and treatment is very important. Go to a dealer immediately and get tested to see which strain of MTD you've contracted. It's clear you have cabrio fever....very treatable as is the MC mutation. More extreme is the MCS, but I suspect you may have contracted a dire case, given the level of exposure, to the JCW strain...the most expensive to treat, but, not to worry, still do-able. Only by getting tested via a simple test drive will tell all.

I know you weren't anticipating such consequences from what seemed an innocent encounter, but there are powerful forces at work here which must be respected. If left untreated you will, put simply, go mad. Denial is of no use...accept it, you are a MINIac now. But not to worry...regular doses of motoring will keep any negative symptoms well in check. In fact, mega doses of motoring has been proven to increase one's overall quality of life substantially.

I can attest to going mad if not treated. I test drove a MCS for the first time, after having gotten rides in my buddy's MC, a few months ago and I am so far gone on getting a MINI that it is scary. I no longer want a MINI, I NEED one. Even though I need one I still have to wait to build up the cash for a down payment. Sadly I will need to wait at least 2/3 of a year until I can order.

But you, to start you experience with a JCW... .

You want to know what's REALLY maddening..... Drinving about 10 a DAY, and still not being able to buy one. And yes, the JCW kits are awesome, but once you hit about 5K miles on the kit, they loosen up a bit and actually get faster, to the point of being damn close to scarey. Rumor has it we're doing a JCW on a red on red with an LSD sometime with week. it's sitting on the north side of the lot right now, just waiting for the "OK" and the JCW kit to arrive.
