Glove Box won't unlock

So no matter which way I turn the key the glove box will not unlock and open. Any one else have this happen. I could go to the dealer, but I also would like to fix it myself if there is any easy fix. I think there wouldn't be, otherwise the lock is pointless.

I really don't want to take the time to drive to the dealer just for the glove box, but with more than 3000 miles until service, I don't think I can go that long without my glove box. What if I got pulled over? Not that I plan to. Plus can't plug in the iPod. Fortunately it isn't in there or I would be more annoyed.

By and chance by pushing on it while you turn the key help? Like pushing up on the box and then turn. Wondering if the lock isnt engaging fully.

I will try that, good thought. Thanks!

Update: That was it. Just had to lightly tug and wiggle and the door opened up. No trip to dealer needed. Thanks.
