THere's a pretty strong storm rolling through right now and pocket of hail just passed by. I'm so frickin glad I invested in MINI's car cover. The hail wasn't big at all so I think there won't be dings... yet. This storm has some time before it passes. At least scratches won't be an issue now with the car cover.

Cavan's only a week old and mother nature has to throw this crap at me. Let's hope my MINI fares well.

Doogie. Unless you got a REALLY strong car cover like a garage roof, there is some hail that car cover is not going to help. Just think, that piece of material is just sitting there touching the metal and bang, a 3" thick ball of ice hits it at like 90 MPH (see http://www.blueprintforsafety.org/hail/hail03.htm) That GOT to hurt

We had hail that came through a few years back that put HOLES through vinyl siding ... you can imagine what it did to unprotected cars

I am terrified that I will be sitting at my desk looking out on my Mini and see hail pounding down on her. In '88 i watched a brand new Pickup truck I had purchased 2 weeks earlier get pounded from a second story apartment window at 2 in the morning.

Lana has been in my possession for about 3 weeks and I can only hope the Texas weather will leaver her alone for while.
