I am about to buy Dinan's MCS strut brace, but I am concerned that it will not fit the stock airbox.

I have the same brace on an 04 MCS. Goes on easy and clear the stock air box and the rest too (ECU box,etc). The only little issue I had was getting the brace to crush down the fire mat on the hood. The first time I lower the hood slowly it would not latch. But now it closes just fine..
