Price Quote...

So I emailed my SA a while ago to try to get a price quote for getting the aux. input installed, in addition to the euro parcel shelf.

Still haven't heard back.

Can anyone give me a range of prices that they paid for these installs?

Aux input part cost $40 install is very simple. I did it myself on 2 cars now.

Euro Parcel shelf is about $75 with all the parts and the rubber insert. Install is even easier then the aux input and requirs just a screw driver. Both can be done very easy. Heck if you want buy the parts and I'll install them both for you I know your pretty close to me.

I did the Aux Input myself, too. Very easy. There are detailed instructions somewhere on this site and/or on Mini2.com

A dealer will charge you an hour's labor, I think. Total of about $100 including the Aux Input part.

Hmm. Thanks to both of you for your input.

mds, I might take you up on that offer... I can get the parts and everything for pretty cheap from Classic, yes?

I JUST did the AUX input yesterday. It's as easy as:
1) Pull down on panel below steering column.
2) Plug in AUX input.
2.1) The AUX input connector should be so the latch is facing up.
2.2) It plugs into the head unit on the driver's side of the Head Unit.

It took me 2 minutes to do yesterday. It'll only take 30 seconds next time.

I got mine from outmotoring

I'll do it if you want to meet up with the rivercityminis in Richmond, VA.
