We recently had Eric from Helix 13 here in Honolulu.
He turned out around a dozen moded Minis in 4 days.
As soon as they put my car up on the lift I started looking at the under side.
I noticed some oil on the bottom of the engine & trans.
The mechs told me some of the seals may be leaking and need to be replaced.
I have an 04 so there's the warranty.
So after the pulley, and sway bar job I went straight to the Dealer to get an appointment.
Why did you have the car up on a lift was the second question the service adviser asked me. Eyebrow raised!

I was thinking this is not a good time to be bringing a freshly pulleyd car to the dealer for oil leaks!
Only the valve cover gasket needed to be changed on my Mini, but the trans seal could have been an all day job at the dealers expence.
Another guy had a split coolant tank.
The month you plan to mod your car, especially when done by others, take a good look for stuff like this and take care of it before you wack on the mods.

 

Isn't obvious that the car is pulley'd though?

 

I was getting a pulley at the time.
The car was otherwise stock w/ Alta CAI.
Just good to start clean I guess a dyno run would be nice too.
