I am still playing with my build my MINI and I found that I really want the web spoke rims, but I was wondering if there is big difference in the drive quality between the two. I live in the midwest so my weather goes from really good to pretty bad especially in the winter. I've heard that even the all weather tires are slippery, so am I really gaining that much by having them or are the performance tires sufficient?

 

Either go with the all weathers, or better yet, mount up a set of winter tires on some cheap rims for those midwest winters.
