With this month having holidays, a karting event in Charlotte, autocrossing, I propose attending a charity drive dinner event during the week.

Apex has a new restaurant opening July 11, Carrabbas. One-half the proceeds from the opening night will go to the Western Wake Crisis Ministry. Western Wake Crisis Ministry currently provides food and financial assistance to residents of Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, New Hill and Friendship.

Come out and help support your local charity and enjoy a nice Italian dinner.

Please reply or PM me if you can make it. Since I know one of the hostesses, :cough:my daughter:cough: I will try to get us a table without having to wait a long time... but no promises.

Sounds like a good idea Chris. I'll say I'll be there, but it'll be contingent on whether my part timer can cover for me that day. I should know something tomorrow.

 

As I normally travel to Apex weekly or every other week I hope to make it to this event. It would be good to see other MINIs in the area....

Just wanted to make those attending this is a moderately priced restaurant... $7-22/entree.

A little more expense than our usual place, but the community does benefit. Thanks again.

 

I just got the word that I'll be covered that day here, so I can make it up for the dinner. See all of you there.

We were treated to a pre-opening dinner tonight. The food was excellent. You all are in for a nice dinner.

Thanks to all that showed up for dinner and helping raise money for the Western Wake Crisis Ministry. I hope you all enjoyed your dinner. For opening night I guess the service wasn't too bad. As soon as I here a $ figure for the fundraiser, I'll post it.

Glad I could make it! It was a good evening all the way around. Nice seeing everyone who came.

 

Yeah Jack, 100k!! That's some motoring.. George is close with his 60k.. It makes me feel a little better as Oz turned over 35k yesterday..
