renting a MINI in France

I am planning a trip to paris soon and hope to be able to rent a MINI convertible for the duration. Is this apossibility? If so where might I find additional information. Thanks in advance.

Do you really want a car in Paris?

Rates are much cheaper if you make the arrangements in advance from the States. And don't imagine that just because they say you get an specific car that you actually will. Out of 50 euro-rentals, the times that it was what I expected were a mere handful. Diesels are nice and nicer. But I understand.

Thanks for the info. Elite looks terribly expensive, They proclaim the mini as a luxury car. Probably won't be able to handle this. I will contact hertz avis etc. in states to see if something can be done.

Renting a MINI in Europe IS expensive. It's not exactly your ordinary compact car (like a Geo metro, Vauxhall, Citroen, Fiat, etc). I don't think the large major-brand rental car companies offer them - it's always been smaller 'boutique' rental businesses that do.

Anyway, I would expect to pay quite a premium to rent a MINI.... but hey, it's only money, and you only live once ...you'll always have the memory of motoring around Paris/France!!!

I say you go for it and "bite the bullet" and rent one for a weekend.
