Tonight during Sportscenter on ESPN, I caught bits of a new-to-me Allstate commercial. Unfortunately, I was on the phone at the time and missed most of it, but it was showing fanatic car owners manically washing, protecting, covering their autos with an voice over saying something about how people love their cars.

Now, you are probably asking "Whats this in MINI Talk for?"

Well, one of the owners could have been me, according to my wife. One of the car lovers whips open his wallet and the accordian-type picture holder drops out showing at least 8-10 pictures (much like a proud PaPa). His kids pictures, however, are of his LY/W MINI Cooper.

During this scene, I had to tell my Mom to HOLD ON a minute as I finished watching a COMMERCIAL Whats wrong with me

I saw that commercial last night... and I thought it was my imagination... the wallet shot... all the pictures looked like MINI's.... I thought I imagined it. Thanks for confirming my sanity (opps.. some might disagree - haha).

 

thanks - now i have to sit in front of the tube a few more hours a day just so i can catch this commercial haha this sounds really funny - kinda like all of us right?

The one that get's me the most is the one where they show the lady walking into the parking garage to find her car was stolen....then they cut to the shot of Dennis Haysbert talking about Allstate standing there in the same garage...I'm thinking to myself..."Hey Dennis!!!! You were there the whole time...why don't you walk over and tell the lady you saw who stole her damn car!!!?!?!?!?!"

 

ok i finally saw this allstate commercial last night during american idol and it definately looked like a mini cooper to me (99% sure) - yellow with a white top but it flashes so fast that you can't be absolutely certain - cool commercial though
