Coopersport Contest--Shady

I was looking at the Contest held by Coopersport......"Win M7 Air Gain System" So I thought what the heck.....started filling out the form and was reading the rules.....then I read the following:

"6. Winner will be notified by telephone or email and instructed on how to claim his/her prize. In order to win, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, an arithmetical, time-limited, skill testing question. If the selected entrant cannot be located or does not respond within 30 days of notification, the entrant forfeits the prize and the prize will be awarded to an alternate entrant. Allow four to six weeks from the date of the draw for verification of contest winner and prize fulfillment."

WTF?? You want my info and then ask me some question after picking my name? YEAH RIGHT!!

According to another thread (which I'm not finding quickly), it's a Canadian thing. Apparently lotterys are not legal in Canada...and random drawings count as lotterys. In this case, a random drawing is used to select the participants in a "contest of skill", instead of a lottery. Chances are it's a pretty easy one, such as 1+1 or similar.

Anyway, it's a Canadian thing.
